Just few days to EICMA 2014, where will be presented the Brutale RR Dragster 800 and 800 Brutale RR. From Schiranna we have already received several anticipations of what will be the future of Meccanica Verghera Agusta.
A few days before the fair in Milan, MV Agusta F4 anticipates the presentation of the new RC model dedicated to the Superbike World Championship in 2015.
For what we can tell, the F4 RC will have an engine that will deliver 210 hp engine, 5% more than the current F4RR, thanks to larger injectors and modifications to the head. Conversely, the weight will drop 8%, up to the threshold of 175 kg, thanks to a motor shaft, piston and gear lighter. The connecting rods are made of titanium, as well as the exhaust Termignoni and hardware, while magnesium is used for the side covers of the engine. Continuing the theme of lightening, the hull and the seat cover are made of carbon and weight loss continues with the lithium battery. They are new forged wheels and the suspension system is fully signed Öhlins.
The F4 RC will be available for the "private teams" that will want to compete in Superbike, the price ultimately expected to be about € 40,000.00.
